I had the privilege of being apart of the launch, of noted photographer Ray Chen’s most recent book, “Jamaica – My 50 years in Photographs”.
The book is filled with beautiful images of Jamaican culture and shows the growth of the country, all documented by Mr. Chen. This is a final passion project for him, as he moved from Canada and relinquished his career as a successful commercial photographer, publishing over 10 books about Jamaica throughout the years.
I met Mr Chen about 4 years ago and he has become a mentor and close friend. He often refers to me as a daughter and star on the rise :o)

I was so excited about this shoot at Floyd’s Pelican Bar, St. Elizabeth because the atmosphere is amazing. If you’re never heard of Pelican Bar, it’s a bar in the middle of the sea!

2014 was an extremely busy, but exciting time for me! With my new studio opening, I decided I was ready to rebrand! It was so difficult for me to let go of the old logo. I realized how hard it must be emotionally for those going through the rebranding process, but just how necessary it is sometimes to take a step back and let go.
