Jessica and Joe’s Sandals Resorts International Wedding
“Love is all you need,” said the writing on the wall at Sandals Resorts International, and love is exactly what my couple, Jessica and Joe, were surrounded by on their wedding day. The sweet couple, who chose Jamaica for their destination wedding, couldn’t have picked a more perfect location for their big day. Decked up in the most sublime florals by Tai Flora Luxe, to me, the place looked like something straight out of Pinterest.
Regina and Rasheed had the most beautiful, intimate wedding two weeks ago in Cooper’s Hill. The McCallum family has been a part of my life for over 8 years and they could not be any luckier to have welcomed Regina to their family. see more!
From the moment Diba got engaged, Christmas Day 2014, I knew I had to plan something special for her for sure. Even though I am her wedding photographer, I had been made an honorary bridesmaid! Her wedding is finally here (tomorrow!) and I am so excited for her!
This gorgeous copy of the Brides Magazine arrived in the mail yesterday! At first I thought it was just a catalogue. Once I saw the cover and read the note, I quickly flipped through to find the feature and there it was – published on pages 304-305. see more!
Smile Jamaica decided to end the month of February with a segment called “Love & Marriage After 42 Years”. The couple, parents to co-host Simone Clarke-Cooper of the morning time show, got married at the age of 20 in the year 1972. It was a real pleasure and honour to be a part of Smile Jamaica’s gift to them for celebrating so many years of marriage.
According to The Knot, December is the most popular time to get engaged. Trust me, I believe it! I’m sure we all noticed the Facebook updates and photos of gorgeous rings on Instagram these past few months! Engagement sessions are getting more and more popular here in Jamaica.
Location is key to capturing a beautiful engagement session. Gardens, the beach and the exact spot that the proposal took place are some common places for engagement shoots. I was so excited about this shoot at Floyd’s Pelican Bar, St. Elizabeth because the atmosphere is amazing. If you’re never heard of Pelican Bar, it’s a bar in the middle of the sea!
It has been a great two years working with Sandals Resorts International. I’ve met some great couples through this joint union and couldn’t be any happier with some of the stunning photos captured. Here are some of my favourite images from 2013 and 2014!
It’s always easy to work with couples who revel in each other’s company, Brittney and Brad certainly do! I spent a day with this fun couple at the beautiful Hope Botanical Gardens in Kingston, Jamaica.
