Destination Weddings in Jamaica
Through my photography, I hope to tell your love story and capture your feelings for each other on this beautiful day. I am available to travel island-wide for weddings and offer wedding photography in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Kingston, Negril, Whitehouse, Port Antonio, and beyond.
Although I am available to travel throughout the beautiful island of Jamaica to photograph your special day, there are some locations that are more popular for weddings than others. If you’re still choosing the destination for your wedding, here are some of my favorite places on the island:
Montego Bay
If your vision of a destination wedding is getting married on a white sand beach under a clear blue sky, but you also love the adventure of exploring a new city, you’ll get both with Montego Bay. As a partner wedding photographer with Sandals Resorts, I’d be delighted to work with you at the gorgeous Sandals Montego Bay resort, but there’s no shortage of wedding locations in this vibrant tropical city. You’ll find many popular all inclusive resorts, boutique resorts, villas and great houses as ideal venues for your wedding in Jamaica.
Mandeville
Mandeville is the capital of Manchester, but the city is known as a respite, with a cooler climate, rolling hills, and lush vegetation. You’ll find unique Jamaican architecture in Mandeville, combining Georgian style with local materials, and there’s no shortage of picturesque locations for a wedding ceremony.
Kingston
If you love the hustle and bustle of a big city, there’s no bigger city in Jamaica than Kingston! While the capital of Jamaica may not be a traditional destination wedding location, this vibrant metropolis has cultural attractions, beautiful gardens, fine dining, spectacular hotels, and yes, beaches too.
Ocho Rios
Ocho Rios is one of the most popular destinations for tourists—and weddings!—in Jamaica and it’s easy to see why. This coastal area is home to lush greenery, roaring waterfalls, tropical rainforests, and a number of all-inclusive resorts and hotels that have destination weddings down to a science—all you have to do is show up!
Runaway Bay
Known for having some of the best beaches in all of the Caribbean, Runaway Bay is a bit of a hidden gem located on the north coast of Jamaica. In addition to the well-known Cardiff Hall Beach, Runaway Bay is home to the Green Grotto Caves, a sizable tropical coral reef, and the Pear Tree River. You’ll also find some fabulous all-inclusive resorts and hotels in the area for your destination wedding, including Jewel Runaway Bay Beach Resort & Waterpark and Cardiff Hotel.
Negril
As a Jamaican wedding photographer, I spend a lot of time in Negril! Here you’ll find expansive white sand beaches, picturesque cliffs, and luxury resorts and hotels that have all the resources you need to put together your dream wedding. While Negril is known for rest and relaxation, there are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure, ensuring that your wedding guests will enjoy their stay just as much as you do.
Clarendon
You’re the type of traveler who enjoys going off the beaten path, away from the tourists, bustling cities, and packed beaches. For a destination wedding in Jamaica that speaks to your personality, consider Clarendon, home of the Milk River Bath and Spa, which is said to have a natural spring with healing waters. The Bridge Palm Hotel, located in Toll Gate, is a popular venue for weddings in Clarendon.
