Jessica and Joe’s Wedding at Sandals Resorts International

Jessica and Joe’s Sandals Resorts International Wedding
“Love is all you need,” said the writing on the wall at Sandals Resorts International, and love is exactly what my couple, Jessica and Joe, were surrounded by on their wedding day. The sweet couple, who chose Jamaica for their destination wedding, couldn’t have picked a more perfect location for their big day. Decked up in the most sublime florals by Tai Flora Luxe, to me, the place looked like something straight out of Pinterest.
It was a delight to photograph Jessica and Joe’s wedding, especially because I got to see and capture so many emotional and memorable moments that not just the bride and groom but all of their guests shared. Thank you, Jessica and Joe, for making me a part of your beautiful wedding.
Jessica and Joe’s Destination Wedding in Jamaica
As unpredictable as tropical weather is, it did pour right before the first look was to take place. In an hour or less, the skies cleared, and the weather was great for the rest of the day. Jessica looked absolutely ravishing in her wedding dress, and Joe was dapper in a greyish-blue suit. A total trooper, Jessica didn’t even mind walking on the sand in her wedding dress as we took a short walk to get some couple portraits after the first look. Speaking of the first look, Joe had such a cute reaction when he first saw Jessica on their wedding day! They were both just looking into each other’s eyes and giving me literally picture-perfect smiles. They couldn’t stop smiling at each other even during the ceremony. It was so adorable! Both of them were so cheerful the entire day, and neither of them was fussy about any of the requests I made.
Jessica and Joe’s was a lovely intimate wedding with immediate family and close friends. The couple’s vows were so touching. There was not a dry eye in the house as they were reading them. The bridesmaids were sisters of both the bride and groom, and the groomsmen were friends of the groom. They were too chummy and certainly not afraid to let out their silly sides for the pictures. With just the right touches and a sparkler lighting to end the night, it was a sweet wedding with some amazing moments that I caught on camera.
One of the most memorable moments for me was when the bride walked down the aisle. That’s always such an exciting part of the wedding, and at Jessica and Joe’s wedding, it was extremely heartwarming too. As Jessica walked down the aisle, several of the groomsmen burst into tears, even more so than the groom! I was pleasantly surprised by their reactions. I was simply touched by their heartfelt emotions. It’s always heartening to see happy tears! Even more so when it’s completely unexpected.
